Global Color Research™, the London-based colour consultancy studio, will be at Interiors UAE providing visitors with colour trend advice for the interior design market.

This year the programme includes seminar sessions on colour trends as well as fascinating workshops that will take place at the Global Color Research™ stand.

The objective of this programme is to inform professionals about colour trends that will be occurring over the next few years and also to teach them how to use colour trend information effectively and accurately.

Conducting these seasons will be our very well know speaker Justine Fox, colour specialist and materials editor of Mix magazine.

Colour Workshop Programme

Global Color Research™ would like to invite professionals to create the colours of the Middle East for 2012.

The aim of these workshops is to create a colour pallette applicable to the Middle Easters market and the interior design sector.

Because of the special characteristics of this market, global trends cannot be applied without considering socioeconomic factors.  For this reason Global Color Research™ believes that a region-specific colour pallette will be a great tool for professionals who work in this area.

This is a uniquely valuable opportunity to share ideas and learn about colours and trends for the interior design sector with your contemporaries.

During the exhibition, Interiors UAE, Global Color Research™ will hold an ongoing colour exercise at its stand where the public can come and look into the different stories proposes for 2012, predicting their own colour views for this particular season.
A colour expert will be at the stand to help you through this colour experience.

Example of participants:
Designers (Interior, product or industrial designers),
Architects,
Paint Companies,
Fabric Designers,
Product Manufactures,
Automotive Companies,
Fashion Experts,

During these workshops we will investigate:
• What are the main factors driving the market globally?
• How do these specifically affect Middle East?
• What key trends are coming through in building?
• What key trends are coming through in decorative design?
• How will this affect the colour choices made by businesses and consumers?
In preparation for this exciting session participants should:
• Collate visual information that you find inspiring.
• Include some of your own projects.
• Select 6-10 colours that you feel illustrate your thinking.
• Focus on colours for both interior and exterior.
• Supply a few sentences or buzz words that show your thought process.
